God Answers Prayers
“Seek and you will find”
“Ask and it will be given to you,” the Savior simply stated. “Seek and you will find what you need. Knock and the door will be opened to you.”
Jesus emphasized that all those who ask, seek, and knock will receive what they need. Heavenly Father knows what everyone needs, and will give if they just ask.
“If your son asked you for bread, would any of you give him a stone?” Christ said. “Or if he asked for a fish, would you give him a snake?”
The answer was simple — of course not. Christ looked at the faces of His disciples and saw hope and faith in the power of prayer.
“If you, even though you are imperfect, know how to give the gifts your children need, how much better would your Father in heaven gift you with things if you just asked?” He said.
