“Hosanna! Blessed is this Man that comes in the name of God!"

Matthew 21 As they neared Jerusalem, Jesus stopped the group. “Go into that village over there,” He said, assigning two of His disciples. “Once you enter, you will see tied a donkey colt that has never been ridden. Bring him here. And if anyone asks what you are doing, tell them that the Lord needs the donkey. Then they will let you take the colt right away.” The disciples left and soon found the colt described by Jesus. As they began to untie the rope, someone called out to them. “What are you doing?” they asked. “Why are you untying that colt?” “The Lord needs this colt,” one responded. “Oh,” said the man. “Then take him, and hurry!” The disciples thanked the man and brought the colt to the Lord. They took off their coats and laid them on the donkey, and then Jesus sat upon it. As Jesus rode into Jerusalem, the Jews gathered around. They quickly took off their coats and shawls and threw them in His path for the donkey to walk on. They cut down palm branches and threw those as well to make an honorary path for the procession. As they did this they shouted, “Hosanna! Blessed is this Man that comes in the name of God! Blessed be the kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!” Jesus rode this way through the crowds until He reached the temple. Some asked, “Who is this?” The Jews answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.”[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]
