Prepare for the Master
Mark 14
The day of the Passover came, and the Master and His disciples were outside the gates of Jerusalem. Jesus called Peter and John to Him.
“Go and prepare the Passover, so we can eat together,” Jesus instructed.
“Where would you like us to prepare the feast?” asked John.
“When you enter the city,” said Jesus, “you will see a man carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him, and go into whatever house he enters. Then you will speak to the master of the house. Say, ‘The Master asks you, where is the guest room, where I will eat the Passover with my disciples?’ He will bring you to a large upper room that is ready with furniture. You may then prepare the feast.”
Peter and John set out, and all was as Jesus had said. When they reached the upper room, they finalized the preparations with reverence. Soon, they were joined by Jesus and the other ten disciples. The Passover could begin.
