Jesus Heals on the Sabbath - Man with Withered Hand

"Always to do good"
Matthew 12 As He entered the synagogue, Christ laid eyes on a man standing in front of Him with an injured hand. Amongst the crowd were the Pharisees, seeking out for reasons to kill the Savior. “It’s the Sabbath,” they cried. “It’s against the law for you to heal on the Sabbath, right?” It was quiet in the synagogue. The tension seemed high and the people stood around Him, waiting for a response. Jesus looked into the eyes of the Pharisees and said, “If one of your sheep fell into a pit on the Sabbath, would you not grab it and take it out? How much better is a human than a sheep? The law is to always do good on the Sabbath.” The Pharisees seemed undaunted by Christ’s words, but the Savior turned to the wounded man. “Give me your hand,” Jesus said, and his hand was healed completely. After witnessing Christ heal on the Sabbath, the Pharisees stormed out of the synagogue and plotted how they would kill Jesus.
